Our mission is to assist believers in helping bring in the Kingdom of God here on earth as it is in heaven. This is accomplished through intercession, mission trips in the United States and abroad, teaching and training others to recognize personal talents and abilities. Ultimately the mission is to release individuals to bring societal transformation into their respective areas of influence. Those areas include the family, business, church, ministry, medical and other professions, education, media, government and the arts.

Statement of Faith
We believe in one God, infinitely perfect and eternally existing in three persons: the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. We believe God the Father is the Creator of heaven and earth. He made man for fellowship with Himself and intended that all creation should live to the praise of His glory.
We believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible, authoritative Word of God.
We believe in the deity and humanity of Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, in His present rule as Head of the Church and in His personal return in power and glory.
We believe the ministry of the Holy Spirit is to glorify the Lord Jesus Christ and, during this age, to convict people and draw them to salvation, to renew the believing sinner and to live inside, guide, instruct and empower the believer to godly living and service.
We believe in the bodily resurrection of the dead: of the believer to everlasting joy with the Lord, of the unbeliever to judgment and everlasting punishment.
We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ, with equality across racial, gender and class differences.
Marjorie Long has a passion to equip the Church and assist believers in understanding their life’s purpose. She is a member of the Executive Network of International Breakthrough Ministries, begun by Barbara Wentroble from the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Marjorie is a board member of Transformation Traverse City, a local marketplace ministry.
As a prayer leader Marjorie is director of intercession for Church of the Bay, a regional fellowship of churches and pastors who have joined together across denominational lines. As a prayer minister, she is connected with Tree of Life Healing Prayer Ministry. She is the founder and president of Glory to God Ministries International. Margie’s passion for teaching, prayer and ministry has taken her around the world where she has carried God’s call to people who are hungry to know God more.
Every Wednesday morning Marjorie leads prayer for the Grand Traverse region in conjunction with Transformation Traverse City and Church of the Bay. Marjorie is director of intercession for the Church of the Bay, the name of a coalition of area churches and pastors who have joined together across denominational lines for the betterment of the Grand Traverse region. Transformation Traverse City is a non-profit ministry of marketplace Christians. www.transformationtraversecity.org. The prayer meeting is from 7:30am – 8:30am at the Traverse City Golf and Country Club, located at 1725 S. Union St, Traverse City, MI, 49684.

Marjorie implemented a prayer effort for those within the Michigan Senate and House of Representatives with the primary focus on those elected in northern Michigan. Individuals having an interest in government and prayer were partnered with a legislator to regularly pray for him or her. This was not a Democrat or Republican or Tea Party undertaking but rather to bring assistance through prayer for rebuilding the State of Michigan. The prayer is for wisdom, good health and protection for the legislator and their family.
Pastor Daniel LeCouteur, Lutheran pastor of the Family of Faith church in Traverse City and one of the leaders of the local 9/12 governmental group, has taken over facilitating this prayer structure.

Each year, Marjorie is part of the leadership team, which includes Pastor Jon DeBruyn of Prayer Missions International, to bring the Global Day of Prayer to Traverse City. The Global Day of Prayer takes place on Pentecost Sunday every year. In 2010 there were over 20 million people in 210 nations participating!
In Traverse City the Sunday service is from 2:00 – 3:30pm and includes praying a seven-part prayer which is common to all 20 million pray-ers! Bayview Wesleyan Church has been the service location for the past few years. Upcoming dates of Pentecost for the Global Day of Prayer:

Dunamis is the Greek word for “power”. Acts 1:8 says “You will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you and you will be My witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria and to the ends of the earth.”
The Dunamis project is a series of six retreats designed to equip believers in the gifts and powers of the Holy Spirit. It is a ministry of PRMI, Presbyterian-Reformed Ministries International, from Black Mountain, North Carolina. www.prmi.org
The retreat series includes:
I Gateways to Empowered Ministry – This retreat covers worldview and the person and work of the Holy Spirit. It was held September 19 – October 1, 2011.
II In the Spirit’s Power – Focused on the gifts and manifestations of the Holy Spirit. It was held April 18 – 21, 2012.
III The Power of Prayer – Rescheduled to April 2013 and to be held at Northern Lakes Community Church, 5444 Herkner Rd, Traverse City. It will emphasize growing in intimacy with Jesus Christ through prayer. Topics include learning to listen to God, intercessory prayer, revival, and praying with vision and power. The “Gateways” make-up session will be Wednesday from 6:30 to 8:30 pm preceeding the scheduled retreat which begins Thursday.
IV The Healing Ministry of Jesus (Fall 2013) – We will examine Jesus’ earthly ministry as our model in praying for spiritual, inner, relational and physical healing. Theory and practical application help make this dimension of ministry a reality.
V Equipping for Spiritual Warfare (Spring 2014) – Addresses the reality of the demonic realm, personal deliverance ministry, the discernment process, spiritual mapping, high-level spiritual warfare and evangelism.
VI Missions and Evangelism in the Power of the Holy Spirit (Fall 2014) – The last of the series emphasizes learning God’s vision for evangelism in the Presbyterian and Reformed churches. It also seeks to develop practical skills in cooperating with the Holy Spirit in doing the work of evangelism.
Marjorie is on the leadership team of the Dunamis Project with Pastor Jon DeBruyn, project director, and also founder of Prayer Missions International.

Level I of the School of Healing Prayer is rescheduled for the spring of 2013. This training is to equip believers for healing prayer ministry. It is from Christian Healing Ministries, founded by Francis and Judith MacNutt. www.christianhealingmin.org The training is presented through video teachings and will include Q & A and small group experience. Level I is open to all Christian believers desiring further equipping for healing prayer ministry. The class will be facilitated by Carol Peschke, retired counselor, Esther Loosemore and Marjorie Long.
Dates: Three Fridays and Saturdays over three months during the spring of 2013. Specific dates to be announced.

Pastor Daniel LeCouteur from Family of Faith (Lutheran church) and I will be leading citywide prayer for the upcoming national election. The prayer times will focus on asking God for righteous leaders to be elected, for His purpose to come forth in our nation as a whole and in the individual 50 states. We will not be praying for specific candidates. Pastor Daniel also co-leads the local governmental 9/12 group.
The prayer gatherings will be held at the Grand Traverse County Senior Center, 801 E. Front Street from 7:00 to 8:30 pm on Thursdays, October 18, 25 and November 1, 2012. The GTC Senior Center is located east of the Hagerty Conference Center and west of Bayshore Resort, on West Grand Traverse Bay.
Come and allow your prayers to join the army of believers across our nation, praying for God’s will to be done here in the United States of America.

Countdown to a New BeginningPeople are wondering if the world is coming to an end. Countdown to a New Beginning is a 112-page book which brings understanding to this question based upon what the Bible has foretold. Many Bible prophecies actually describe the season in which we live and give us clues as to what is ahead.
I began writing Countdown to a New Beginning in the fall of 2010. Then on January 14, 2011, I sensed the Lord saying “The stage is set. The players are in position. Act III is about to begin.” It seemed like God was placing a divine exclamation mark on this work.
The book lists many “signs” visible in the earth today: Israel as God’s prophetic time clock; the Spirit’s work in nations; physical signs; a one-world system; national identification programs; radio frequency identification (RFID) chips; the Verichip, used even in people; discussion of the Rapture and the Tribulation. The information in this book will open your eyes to what is happening around us and give an understanding of God’s plan. What a day to be alive!

The Judgments & Rewards of God
Interest in end time events has increased over the last few years, both in the world and in the Church. It seems many people are sensing a change coming. Something is about to happen.
2 Corinthians 5:10 says, “We must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may be recompensed for the deeds in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad.”

The Presence of God

The Marketplace & You
Did God limit Himself to working solely through leaders inside church buildings, what the Bible terms as temples or tabernacles?
